Lets get started - Intial Consultation

People come to Ayurveda for a variety of reasons.  Some want to find out what it's all about and how it can help them.  Some people have not found the answers they want from their doctor and some are looking to find natural ways for preventative health and longevity. I offer personalized guidance and encouragement while balancing the body, mind, and spirit. To this, I begin by gathering information about the client through a comprehensive intake form. Afterward, I conduct a one-on-one consultation , in person or by zoom call, and discuss how Ayurveda can help you. Using this information, I can identify the causes of the imbalance and suggest a personalized plan based on Ayurvedic principles. â€‹

It's all connected - Ayurvedic Nutrition and Beauty

Ayurvedic nutrition plays a crucial role in attaining beautiful skin and good health. The emphasis is on utilizing food as a remedy to sustain a sound body and mind. It's great to eat well, but it is vital to digest your food properly to create healthy body tissue.  By adhering to Ayurvedic guidelines, you can aid your body's innate healing mechanisms and foster inner and outer beauty.

Approaching beauty from an Ayurvedic perspective means prioritizing nourishment. An Ayurvedic diet moisturizes our body from the inside out, which allows our skin and hair to become radiant. Ayurveda is an excellent base from which to observe the effects of particular foods on you, both positive and negative.

Ayurvedic Herbal Remedies

Herbal medicine is a key aspect of Ayurvedic healing. It involves the use of natural herbs and plants to promote health and treat various conditions. When we take herbs our bodies recognize the relationship with plants, because like us, they are a part of nature.  There is a synergistic relationship between our bodies and herbs. Through the power of herbal medicine, you can experience the benefits of nature's healing properties.

My Ayurvedic Approach

Either you are connecting to your life moment to moment in a way that is truly rewarding or you're not.  Ayurveda has not only brought me health and vitality, but also deep meaning to my life. Keeping the integrity of Ayurveda is achieved by passing down the knowledge from teacher to student. Both are continually learning and creating community, and this is what I love best about Ayurveda. â€‹

Though Ayurveda originated in India and much of the knowledge exists within an Indian cultural context, the principles are found in nature and very similar to other ancient healing modalities such as Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Much of my Ayurveda perspective is blended with Dr. Deepak Chopra's modern approach to applying the wisdom of Ayurveda to everyday life.

Most importantly, I believe healed people create a ripple effect in the real world.  When you heal yourself, you heal the people around you.

Bringing healing to ourselves changes the way we look at things and allows us to feel connected. This is what the world needs now, a personal, attainable way to achieve health and well-being. Ultimately you are responsible for your own health. Ayurveda gives you the tools to do just that.
